I-24 McCracken County work zone to come down Thursday
PADUCAH, Ky. - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the work zone on Interstate 24 between mile markers 10 and 16 in McCracken County will come down Thursday.
KYTC spokesman Keith Todd says the lane restrictions should be removed by about 4 p.m., weather permitting. However, limited lane restrictions could be put in place periodically over the next few weeks to finish work.
The project to resurface I-24 from mile markers 3 to 16 was divided into two sections and began earlier this year. It will be completed more than a month ahead of schedule.
Work zone restrictions remain in place from mile markers 86 to 93 in Christian County.
