KSP: 5 people died on Kentucky roadways last week

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Last week turned out to be a deadly one on Kentucky roads.  That's according to Kentucky State Police.

At least five people died between April 22 and April 28.

Boyd, Daviess, Franklin, Jefferson and Wolfe Counties each had a single-fatality crash.

In four of the crashes, the victims weren't wearing seatbelts.

Two of the crashes involved alcohol.

Kentucky State Police report 165 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways this year.  That's down from the same time last year.
