KSP, DEA seize 47 pounds of meth in Graves Co.

HICKORY, KY -- The Kentucky State Police conducted a criminal interdiction traffic stop on a vehicle which resulted in a seizure of approxmately 47 pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $2.1 million dollars.

The traffic stop happened on Thursday, November 7th, three miles north of KSP Post 1 near Folsomdale.

During the course of this investigation, the Kentucky State Police and Drug Enforcement Administration learned of a large shipment of crystal methamphetamine that was destined for the western Kentucky area yesterday. This information led to the traffic stop.

Multiple arrests were made in the case including 55 year old Marsha L. Williams, 68 year old Charles B. Williams of Polk, Arkansas. 34 year old Guadalupe Rojas Gomez and 55 year old Juventino Maurilio Rojas-Maldonado of Chiago were also arrested. All of them were charged with violations of the Controlled Substances Act and are lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

KSP and DEA were assisted by the Ballard County Sheriff's Department and the Paducah Police Department. The investigation is on going.
