WICKLIFFE, Ky. - In March 2012, a museum opened in Wickliffe, Kentucky to honor those who have sacrificed for our freedom.

The Kentucky Veteran and Patriot Museum contains stories from veterans across our area, along with newspapers, uniforms and other memorabilia.

Wednesday also marks the 12th anniversary of the September 11 attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people. A remembrance ceremony will be held at the museum from 9 a.m. until noon.

Local 6's Marissa Hollowed visited the Kentucky Veteran and Patriot Museum to see how people are remembering 9/11. She also talked to a member of the Local 6 family who was in basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia on that day. Check out the video for more.
