PADUCAH, Ky. - Police arrested a former Paducah man accused of sexually assaulting a child nearly two years ago.

In November of 2011 Christopher Goens told police he had taken his son and two children to a place on Joe Clifton Drive.

Goens said he went to buy drugs and heard the children screaming.

He claimed a black man assaulted an eight year old girl and that another man attacked him.

In April investigators received DNA results that pointed to Goens as the perpetrator.

Paducah Police found out Goens lived in Alabama and contacted authorities there.

Goens fought extradition so police used a governor's warrant to get him back to Paducah.
