Man shot, killed during hunting trip
BALLARD COUNTY, Ky. — A deer hunting trip with friends turned deadly for a Paducah man early Sunday morning.
Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Sergeant Garry Clark confirmed to Local 6 that 38 year-old Ryan Henderson died after being accidentally shot in the head.
Clark said it happened around 8:15a.m. off Fraser Road in Gage, Kentucky in Ballard County. Clark said Henderson died after a friend was trying to remove his deer rifle from his shoulder to climb over a fence. The gun discharged, killing the father of two instantly.
Again, Clark said the shooting was accidental. Since we are in deer season, Clark does urge caution when hunting.

The name of the man is not being released until the man's family is notified. Sgt. Clark says the shooting was accidental and happened near Gage, Kentucky.
