CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. - Another strange twist in an unusual crime case.  A western Kentucky man doing time for manslaughter wants to withdraw his guilty plea.

Jayson Workman entered an alford plea in the stabbing death of Herbert Donald Scandell and got a 20 year sentence in 2011 in Calloway County, but now Workman says his lawyer, Wesley Boyarski, pushed him to take the plea deal.

The prosecuting attorney, Mark Blankenship, refutes the claim saying Workman had multiple opportunities to say no.
