McCracken man dies of hypothermia, exposure to extreme cold

UPDATE:

Autopsy results reveal that Owen D. Tucker, 85 died of hypothermia due to exposure to the extreme cold.

Investigators believe that Mr. Owen accidentally locked himself out of his home the night before when wind chill factors were near negative 20 degrees.

He was found on the front porch of his Husband Road home by a family friend.

The time of death was determined to be around 11 p.m. Monday, January 6th. No foul play is suspected.

 McCRACKEN Co, Ky - The McCracken County Sheriff's Office has initiated an investigation into the death of an elderly man.

A family member found the deceased man on the front porch of his home on Husbands Road at the corner of Temple Drive around 1:30 p.m yesterday.

Sheriff, Jon Hayden tells Local 6 that as of now the death remains under investigation and no foul play is suspected.

An autopsy is scheduled for later today.
