MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - McCracken County has been added to the growing list of Kentucky school systems approving a policy to raise the dropout age from 16 to 18.

As incentive to pass the higher age, the state is giving the first 57 districts to do so a $10,000 grant.

The new dropout age will go into effect for the 2014-15 school year.
