McCracken County woman faces 3rd drug trafficking charge
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - A local woman is facing drug trafficking charges for the third time after her arrest Monday night.
McCracken County deputies arrested 46-year-old Beverly Dukes after a traffic stop around 9 p.m. Monday.
The arrest followed an investigation during which detectives learned that Dukes traveled to a foreign country to purchase crack cocaine with the intent to sell it.
A deputy observed Dukes throwing items out of her car as he attempted to stop her. She is charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd or Subsequent Offense and Tampering With Physical Evidence.
Dukes is in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
