Administrators for the Land Between the Lakes Recreational Area will host informational meetings to discuss the road system.

Around 65 miles of the 475 miles of existing Land Between the Lakes roads will be evaluated.

The first meeting will be held July 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lake Barkley State Resort Park Convention Center in Cadiz. The second meeting will take place July 26 at the Stewart County Visitor Center in Dover, Tennessee, while the third meeting will be held July 30 at the Grand Rivers Senior/Community Center in Grand Rivers, Kentucky.

The meetings have been scheduled to establish what roads exist now, what is needed for access and what is affordable.

Roads accessing a cemetery or maintained by the state of Kentucky or Tennessee will not be changed or recommended for change.
