Blood Donor Center in critical need of all blood types

MURRAY, Ky - Murray-Calloway County Hospital's Blood Donor Center is in critical need of all blood types.

They are specifically requesting for donors of B-Positive, A-Negative, and O-Negative blood types at this time. Area residents can donate blood by attending one of the upcoming blood drives open to the community, or by making an appointment at the Blood Donor Center.

The hospital is holding multiple blood drives through the rest of January to try and resupply.

  • Wednesday, Jan. 22nd - Westside Baptist Church from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., 207 Roberston Road in Murray, Kentucky
  • Thursday, Jan. 23rd - MCCH Blood Donor Center from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., located in the Medical Arts Building, East Wing, First Floor beside the Medical Arts Pharmacy in Murray, Kentucky.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 28th - Paschall Truck Lines (PTL) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 3343 US Highway 641 South in Murray, Kentucky.
