Natural gas will cost more this winter
Natural gas prices will be climbing even higher this heating season.
If your household consumes more than 10,000 cubic feet of natural gas, expect to pay about 19 percent more this November. This is still below the peak natural gas costs of 2008.
“Natural gas prices have rebounded from last year’s abnormally low levels, but this year’s prices are still quite low,” PSC Chairman David Armstrong said.
The best chance in managing energy costs is to reduce consumption.
Prices are also likely to increase for those who use propane and electric heat as well.
