One person arrested after striking woman with glass whiskey bottle

 MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. — A McCracken County Sheriff's Deputy arrested a 22 year-old on a charge of 2nd Degree Assault following a fight at a party early Sunday. 

According to investigators, Lashae D Taylor of Paducah got into a physical altercation with 21 year-old Monica F Kauffmann at a party on Pace Drive in Paducah.  
 
Deputies said Taylor threw a glass whiskey bottle at Kauffman, striking her in the head and causing a large cut above her right eye.  Taylor left the party but was later found, charged, arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail. 
 
Kauffman was taken to the hospital for treatment.
