MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - The punishment stands.

The McCracken County Fiscal Court Tuesday rejected Paul Carter's challenge to a ruling earlier this year in connection to a scuffle on Interstate 24.

The Emergency Services director was involved in a July incident caught on tape between him and a former employee.

Carter, who was cleared of criminal charges, was asking the court for his reprimand to be removed, his lost pay returned and his legal fees paid.

Members of the court denied that request.

Carter admits things did get physical but says it was only after the other man pushed him.
