PADUCAH, Ky. - He allegedly hit his girlfriend then left her in traffic, and when police tried to stop him, he ran officers say.

29-year-old Johnathan M. Mabry faces more than a dozen charges after the alleged crimes.  Those include 4th Degree Assault, 1st Degree Wanton Endangerment, Menacing and Resisting Arrest.

Paducah, Kentucky Police say Mabry hit his girlfriend while in Clark's River Road traffic, then pushed her out of the truck and drove away.

When police caught up with him, Mabry sped away.  After a short chase he stopped and refused to do what police told him to do.

When he finally got out, he wasn't done running.  With a socket wrench in hand, he took off... this time on foot.

Officers caught up with Mabry when he turned on them.  That's when police pulled their tasers and stopped him.

He was arrested and booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.
