TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. - The replacement span on the Eggners Ferry Bridge is now in place and people living on either side of the bridge are happy to see the progress being made.

Jack Hanberry spent more than four hours Tuesday watching the movement of the span.  He has two daughters on the Marshall County side and he wants the bridge to open soon so he doesn't have to make the hour long commute around.

Hanberry was one of several people who turned out to watch the latest developments.  Rebar will be sent in for reinforcement before the concrete can be poured.
