Sequester means fewer meals on wheels
MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - Cuts are coming and the meal makers don't know how bad it will be. They've only been told to expect less money for the Meals on Wheels program that many seniors need to survive.
Cuts from the sequester are expected to trickle down to area senior centers that feed thousands in our area.
Directors say they still haven't received federal funding for the next fiscal year, that starts at the end of June. The director of the Paducah McCracken County program hopes she won't have to turn people away, but she is prepared to do just that.
