Storage box full of shotguns stolen from parked vehicle

PADUCAH, Ky. - A wooden storage box full of guns was taken from a parked vehicle at a local hotel.  Now police are trying to track it down.

It happened on September 30.

Paducah, Kentucky Police say James J. Hazen of Lakeland, Florida called police early that morning and told them someone broke one of his Jeep Grand Cherokee's windows and stole the storage box.  The vehicle was parked at a hotel located Interstate 24 and U.S. 60.

Inside were a Remington Model 11 16-gauge shotgun, a Browning A5 12gauge shotgun, a Mossberg over and under Silver Reserve 12-gauge shotgun, two Remington Model 1100 12-gauge shotguns, a Remington Model 1100 20-gauge shotgun and a Benelli 12-gauge shotgun.

Ammunition for the guns was also missing, along with several bags and suitcases.
