Three people, including child, injured in two-vehicle crash

CADIZ, Ky. - A crash in one Local 6 county sent several people to the hospital.

It happened in Trigg County, Kentucky just after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Cadiz Police say 21-year-old Morgan Spann attempted to turn into a parking lot, but never made it.  Spann pulled into the path of a 28-year-old Crystal McCraw's vehicle.

The impact sent Spann and a passenger spinning, causing the vehicle to go off the shoulder, hit a road sign.  It came to rest against a large sign post.

Spann suffered no injuries.  However, 20-year-old Miranda Thacker, a passenger, suffered several injuries.  Emergency crews freed her by mechanical means.

McCraw, the other drive, suffered neck and knee injuries.

Two children, a three-year-old and three-month-old, survived the crash.  The three-year-old suffered face and head injuries.

Emergency crews transported the injured to Trigg County Hospital.  Everyone involved wore appropriate safety restraints.
