14 arrested in Calloway County drug round-up

MURRAY, Ky. - Several organizations teamed up to arrest 14 people on drug warrants in Calloway County.

The arrests follow an eight-month-long investigation by the Kentucky State Police, Murray Police Department and the Pennyrile Narcotics Taskforce. The investigation, known as Operation "Up in Smoke," looked into the trafficking of illegal drugs in and around Murray.

Below is a list of 13 released identies of those charged:

Darrell Foster, 29, of Murray

Jared Evans, 29, of Hazel

Teresa R. Dowdy, 30, of Murray

Barry Thacker, 43, of Murray

Shannon Towns, 30, of Murray

Terry Manning, 58, of Murray

Apollo Tomie, 28, of Murray
