Updated: 2 suspects arrested for daytime burglaries in Massac County

2nd update: MASSAC COUNTY, Ill. - Two people have been arrested in a series of burglaries in Massac County.  Wesley Reynolds, 27, of Metropolis and Evangeinina Delao, 29, of Unionville were arrested and charged with two residential burglaries in the past two days in Massac County.

The Massac County Sheriff's Department said that after Local 6 first ran the story last night, they started receiving tips.That led them to a home on Unionville Road, where they recovered all of the stolen property from both break-ins.

Reynolds and Delao were each charged with two counts of residential burglary, two counts of theft over $500, one count of criminal damage to property over $500, and one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Reynolds is currently on parole in the state of Illinois.  Both suspects are being held without bond at the Massac County Detention Center.

Update:  MASSAC COUNTY, Ill. - Massac County Sheriff Ted Holder reports that two people have been arrested and accused of burglarizing homes in the Unionville area.

Police arrested Wesley Reynolds and Evonne Deleao in Massac County.  All items from the burglarized homes have been recovered.

Deputies are in the process of gathering the stolen goods from the homes.  Local 6 will provide more information on this story as it becomes available.

MASSAC COUNTY, Ill. - Police are asking for the public's help in the search for the suspects responsible for at least two daytime burglaries in the Unionville area.

The Massac County sheriff reports that in one of the burglaries, the house was completely emptied, so the suspects may be traveling with a trailer.
