2 companies expected to create 70 total jobs in Paducah
PADUCAH, Ky. - At least 70 new jobs are expected in Paducah after one company begins operations and another expands.
The Paducah Sun reports Plastiblok has received incentives to renovate an office building in the downtown area to expand operations of a new product, Lok-N-Blok. It's a new inner-lock construction and building concept. Plastiblok is owned by Paducah's Greg Siener.
Another company, Creative Eye American Appeal, is also expected to open a manufacturing plant on the Interstate 24 Business Loop in Paducah. The company manufactures private clothing brands such as Sweet Pea for retailers, including Macy's and Walmart. The plant is expected to create around 40 jobs with a starting wage of $13 per hour.
