MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - Four people face drug charges after two separate incidents yesterday in McCracken County.

The first two arrests occurred yesterday morning when deputies were called to a home at 1246 Vasseur by probation and parole officers. The officers had located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

Deputies arrested 47-year-old Michael Hamlin and 52-year-old Cynthia Blankenship. Both are charged with possession.

The second incident occurred around 11 p.m. last night, when deputies received a tip about illegal drug activity at 1603 North 10th Street. During a search of the home, detectives found marijuana, a handgun and money believed to have come from drug sales. Deputies also spotted and stopped a car with multiple people inside leaving the scene.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Cedric Pipes and charged him with four counts of wanton endangerment, as four children were inside the home. They also charged 20-year-old Shaquille Beard with firearm-enhanced possession of marijuana.

All four suspects are in the McCracken County Jail.
