City closer to soccer "super complex"

PADUCAH, KY - Our area is another step closer to becoming a regional soccer center. Last night paducah city commissioners approved an ordinance for a contract with consulting firm Brandstetter Carroll of Lexington.

The group will build a master plan for the proposed complex on Sheehan Bridge Road including a soil survey and archaeological study.

The 185 acre complex would include soccer fields.

The city expects preliminary information in about six weeks.
