West Frankfort murder suspect waives extradition

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - One of the two people suspected of killing two women in southern Illinois has waived extradition. 19-year-old Afton Ferris waived her extradition right, 29-year-old Michael Schallert did not.

The two were formally charged in Franklin County court last month. They are currently in custody in Colorado. The two are accused of killing 32-year-old Terri Seibeck and 28-year-old Kandis Majors in west Frankfort.
