Two arrested for Ritz burglaries

By Web Editor - Ethan Fife

PADUCAH, KY - The Paducah Police Department says two women have been arrested in connection to break-ins last weekend at Tiffany's and Bellissimo's inside the Ritz on Broadway.

Chelsea Brooke Emery, 18, of Symsonia, and Danielle Alexis Knight, 24, of Paducah, were arrested Thursday afternoon after they were interviewed at the police department about the burglaries.  The two admitted to breaking into the two businesses and taking purses, jewelry, hair, styling supplies, and other items.

Det. Matt Smith reviewed surveillance video and evidence gathered at the scene, and identified Emery and Knight as suspects.  The were booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail.

An bad older sibling is a terrible influence on a kid. Even more when the first criminal is allowed to get away with the bad behavior and get rewarded or excused and accepted by one or both parents & other family. Anyone can make a few mistakes, but without learning & then taking personal responsibility, a kid is on the road to permanent ruin.

If I am not mistaken about it, the oldest one was in home incarceration not that long ago for burglary, etc. And her & the younger one do both run around with a bunch of thieves, drug heads & gangsta wannabe's

I agree that what these two girls did was wrong. I am by no means defending them, but to blame TV is completely idiotic. Everyone wants to blame bad things that happen on TV and/or books. I DISAGREE WITH THAT!!! And just because someone does something bad..that does NOT make them a thug, meth-head, or "gangsta." That is so pathetic and just goes to show how much knowledge people have of LIFE. How about instead of making these ridiculous comments, you pray for them instead!!!

Funny how life imitates art. Monkey see monkey do. Watching the degenerate filth on tv leads some to attempt the same behavior. reminds me of the guy from chicago who wanted media attention on the war and never got it. msm was afraid others would copycat him. Activist and artist Malachi Ritscher burned himself alive in Chicago in front of morning rush hour commuters to protest the war in Iraq. Nov. 03, 2006 I love how tv has conditioned the public. I bet their Gangsta attitude has changed now
