TRAFFIC ADVISORY

With steady rain across the region, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has received a number of reports of water over highways.

Marshall County

KY 1462 is closed between the 0 and 1 mile marker by high water

Hopkins County

KY 502 is open at this time, but has water on the pavement between the 1 and 3 mile marker

KY 1034 is open at this time, but has water on the pavement at the 8 mile marker

 

Motorists should use extreme caution when they encounter water over the roadway. As little as six inches of moving water can knock you off your feet or push a vehicle off the roadway.
