We were so sorry to hear about the loss of our union brothers Marcus and John. This is a tragedy for our union, their families and their community. Our hearts ache for their loved ones and they must know that 798 will be less for their loss. Our prayers are with you all.

We love Marcus and JoCarla and Marcus Jr, and Big John, and their other brother, Travis.Marcus Sr. is a great man of God, he opened a church at Perry's Branch, and all he ever wanted was to lead people to the Lord. These boys will be sadly missed by so many people. Please keep their family in your prayers.

Just can't believe this, these were 2 great people. Marcus was on the very first job I done on 798 and made me feel welcome. Our families spent some time together while working on the pipeline in New York. He was my best friend of 798. It really hit my family and I really hard. They will be greatlymissed. Our prayers are with Karla and Autumn. and the McCleese family.

I just can't believe that has happened. I was fortunate enough to work with both Marcus and Big John. They represented 798 in the best fashion possible. Two great guys that loved their families very much. I just CANNOT believe this tragidy has occured. From 181 Operators, you both will be missed. I'm sorry to the family and I deeply hope the family members realize the thoughts from all the pipeliners are with you.....

Sorry about using the wrong word in the first sentence. Should have read: These 2 men were from Olive Hill. This has really been a blow for our small town.
36633084seasons said on Friday, Jan 29 at 2:50 PM
These 2 men where from Olive Hill, KY and were working on a pipeline there. Our prayers are with their families. They were both wonderful men to know. Their father is a preacher and he said they had both been attending church. He sure loved his boys. "Big Red" had a daughter named Autum.
