One of two women speak out today after Chuck E Cheese incident

By Julie Collins

PADUCAH - "I want to be the first to admit I was wrong and I made a huge mistake."

That mistake was leaving her 9-year-old and 3-year-old grandchildren unattended at Chuck E Cheese while she went across the street to Dillard's to run an errand.

"I knew that wasn't a good idea that's why I wanted to hurry and like I said we didn't go there and do a bunch of shopping we just went and did a couple errands and came back."

By the time they got back, an hour and a half later, cops were already there. The Paducah police say a customer noticed the 3-year-old crying. Employees couldn't locate a parent so the police were called. Larry has been the manager here since 1993

"We try our best to make it secure as possible but our system is not a system that allows people to come in and expect that our employees to take care of their children. Adult supervision is always necessary when you bring your kids to Chuck E Cheese."

In regards to yesterday incident, Marilyn says she regrets her decision.

"I would never do anything to harm my grandkids in any shape form or fashion. We made a huge mistake and I'm sorry"
