Methamphetamine search leads to two arrests

CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY - Two people were arrested during a search related to methamphetamine production.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on Tuesday, March 9th, on a home at 216 Saddlebrook Lane in Almo. Officers seized methamphetamine, drugs and drug paraphernalia. Timothy Evans was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A female in the house was also arrested on unrelated warrants.

Authorities say the investigation started thanks to information provided from the local community.
