Arrests made in recent rash of burglaries in southern Illinois county
JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. - Authorities filed charges against two people in a rash of recent vehicle burglaries.
20-year-old Carmon Faries and 19-year-old Raymond Salazar, both of Murphysboro, face possession of stolen property and possession of a stolen vehicle. Investigators say they’re the suspects behind 56 auto burglaries.
The crimes happened in Jackson County, Illinois between January and March of 2013.
During the investigation, authorities recovered some of the stolen property.
Investigators say they want to talk with anyone who believes the alleged burglars targeted their vehicle between January and March and didn’t report it. Those people need to call (618) 684-2177.
