Bridge detour plan creates headaches for some
LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. — People living along the Ledbetter Bridge detour route are seeing the impact of this week's changes.
First, there were new rules for anyone planning to travel over the Ledbetter bridge. That led to lots of semi-truck drivers using a detour. Now people who live and travel along that detour are learning exactly what that means for them.
The Ledbetter Bridge restrictions have truck drivers and others detouring east on I-24 to exit 31, taking St. Hwy. 453 and eventually hooking up with St. Hwy. 937, or Cutoff Road, to link back up to Route 60.
