Bridge re-open after crash

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Ky. – The U.S. 60 bridge, which connects McCracken County to Livingston County, re-opened just before 10 p.m. Friday night.

This, after a vehicle crash happened earlier in the evening.

Investigators from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department tell Local 6 the driver was coming from Ledbetter toward Paducah when he ran off the road into a ditch just before he got to the bridge.

The driver told investigators he blacked out behind the wheel.

He suffered minor injuries and emergency crews took him to the hospital.
