Calloway County resident arrested for drug trafficking
MAYFIELD, Ky -- Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon reports that a Calloway County resident has been arrested on Drug Trafficking charges as a result of an undercover investigation in Graves County.
31 year-old George K Haynes aka “Mississippi” or “Sippy” of Almo was arrested after detectives completed a covert operation where Haynes sold cocaine to an undercover person. He is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and is currently lodged in the Graves County Jail awaiting court proceedings.
Redmon stated this arrest was the result of an investigation that began with an anonymous tip that Haynes was involved in the illegal sales of Cocaine. Anyone with information of illegal drug activity is encouraged to call the Graves County Sheriff's Office.
