Coast Guard confirms that crews ungrounded LST on Lake Barkley

PADUCAH - Lt. Dan McQuate with the U.S. Coast Guard confirms to Local 6 that the World War II-era Naval warship, the USS LST 325, was ungrounded around 6:20p.m. Wednesday. 

Lt. McQuate said that inspectors will now be checking the ship for damage and testing engine performance. 
 
The ship is scheduled to arrive in Paducah Thursday morning for fuel if no damage is located during Wednesday's checks.
