TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. - A change in the courtroom.

Tim Coleman will take over as special prosecutor in the Claude Russell murder trial in Trigg County, Kentucky.

This after Commonwealth Attorney G.L. Ovey recused himself last month.

Ovey stepped down after receiving new information from Trigg County Sheriff Ray Burnam.

He said the information could help the defense and he might be called to testify, which violates state law.

Russell is charged in the 2002 death of Chantell Humphries.  He's due back in court on July 12.
