PADUCAH, Ky. - Hundreds of local high school students spent time Tuesday night planning their futures.

More than 80 colleges and universities were represented during this year's college expo.

It was held inside the Paducah Tilghman High School gymnasium.

Students from across the Local 6 region were invited to attend to learn more about their options after graduating high school.

"They get to meet one-on-one with them ask them some questions. Kind of narrow it down.  Where they might be interested in actually going," Paducah Tilghman Guidance Counselor Cassaundra Newsome said.

Newsome says it's never too early for you to encourage your child to start planning what they plan to do after graduating high school.  There were also people at the expo representing several branches of the military.
