Credit union robbed, police search for suspect

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Police are investigating the robbery of the Cape Regional Credit Union.


A black male reportedly entered the bank Friday morning, said he had a gun and demanded money.


The suspect fled the scene southbound with an undetermined amount of money.


He's described as between 6 feet 3 inches and 6 feet 5 inches tall, wearing a long-sleeve striped dress shirt, dark pants, white shoes and a dark colored baseball hat.
