MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - A pair of heavy duty ramps allegedly found on the side of the road is the reason a local man is in jail.

The McCracken County, Kentucky Sheriff's Department charged 55-year-old Harrison E. George with Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000 and Failure to Notify the Department of Transportation of an Address Change.

In July 2013, a McCracken County resident told deputies someone stole his ramps.  Nearly three months later, the owner received a tip that the property had been located.

Deputies went to the Walker Avenue home and found the ramps.  They questioned the home's resident, George, who said he found them on the side of the road near 16th Street and decided to take them.

George was arrested and taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
