BAGHDAD (AP) - Officials in Iraq now say at least 25 people have been killed and 40 wounded in the explosion of a vegetable truck at a city market south of Baghdad.

The attack happened today in a Shiite city about 80-miles south of Baghdad.

There is no immediate claim of responsibility, but a local lawmaker blames the attack on Sunni insurgents affiliated to al-Qaida in Iraq.

Hours later, two bombs exploded in the Sunni city of Taji, killing three people and wounding 15.
