Dot Foods announces new distribution center, 157 jobs in Dyersburg

DYERSBURG, Tenn. - A food redistributor has announced plans to open a new distribution center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Dot Foods, Inc., says the $24 million facility will open in September 2014 and bring 157 jobs to the area.

The distribution center will be more than 166,000 square feet in size. It will be located in the Dyersburg Industrial Park on State Highway 211.

DYERSBURG, Tenn. - The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Dyersburg are expected to make an announcement Monday morning about new jobs coming to the region.

Dyersburg Mayor John Holder and Dyer County Mayor Richard Hill will join several others at the Chamber of Commerce building at 11:30 a.m.

While the Chamber of Commerce did not offer specifics, it says Monday's announcement "will mean jobs for Dyersburg, Dyer County and the surrounding areas."
