Early morning stabbing sends man to hospital

JOHNSTON CITY, Ill. —  A stabbing early Sunday sent one man to jail and another to the hospital.

 
Johnston City, Illinois Police were called to Maddie's Pub and Grub just before 2a.m. to find a man with wounds to his chest.  He was taken to Herrin Hospital.  
 
Police later arrested 30 year-old Edward Serna Junior of Hurst, Illinois.  He's in the Willamson County jail.  
 
WPSD Local 6's calls for a condition report on the man in the hospital were not returned.
