Bryce Weiler sits on the Evansville bench during every basketball game, but his love for the game doesn't stop with the Purple Aces.

It was because of that passion for the game that Steve Prohm invited Weiler to speak to the team before Murray State's game with Evansville Saturday.  All of the Racers took Bryce's message to heart.

"He's a very inspiring person," Ed Daniel said. "He's a blind kid who knows more about sports than a person that can see knows about sports."

"He's not as fortunate as you or I or any of these guys here in front of us," Murray State coach Steve Prohm said. "But he's got an incredible amount of passion for the game of basketball."

Weiler is scheduled to have surgery on his eyes next year. If all goes well, he could have partial vision for the first time in his life.
