MARTIN, Tenn. - Leaders at the University of Tennessee in Martin and Governor Bill Haslam were on hand Monday to break ground for the $1 million expansion to The Parsons Center.

The building currently houses students in the nursing program.

The expansion will include classrooms, a skills laboratory and a high-fidelity computerized simulation laboratory.

The center will have openings for up to 30 students a year for the program.
