Fire destroys home, fire chief calling for donations

BENTON, Ky. - A Sunday fire displaced a family of five and the fire chief is calling on the public to donate clothes.

The Devine family's home on Dogwood Road is a total loss.  Fire Chief Harry Green says a turned on dryer is likely the cause.  No one was home at the time.

Chief Green is asking for the following donations:

Size 16 women's pant, large shirt and 7.5 shoe.

Size 32x30 men's pants, medium shirt and 8 shoe.

Size 10 women's pant, large shirt and 8 shoe.

36x31 teenage pant, large shirt and 9 shoe.

Size 9 slim for 10 year old girl, medium shirt, 2.5 shoe.
