MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky—A life cut entirely too short. To say eight-month-old Quintin Inglish was a trooper is an understatement. His 8-months of survival is a story itself.

He was born 3-months pre-mature, weighing in at just one pound and six ounces. That was only half of the battle. Due to his pre-maturity, he faced severe kidney malfunctions.

His parents, Josh and LouAnn cling to the memories of their baby boy. LouAnn said, "He'd just stare at us and smile. He was full of life. Even though he was so sick, you didn't know it."

Quintin Joseph Inglish was a miracle baby from the beginning.

"His cysts on his kidneys, pancreas and liver all of them shut down. But, most babies with this don't live if they do make it through birth, don't live days or weeks. So, it was a miracle that we even had him for 8 months," said LouAnn.

A tragedy that will turn into a celebration of life, when the Marshall County community comes together Monday.

A friend of the family, Deborah Clark organized a fundraiser for Baby Quintin's family. "Anything I can do to help them out or keep them from hurting, I'd be willing to do. I don't like to see them hurt. Anything to help them out, they've been through enough, they don't need to go through anymore," said Clark.

Honoring an 8-month old survivor whose legacy lives on. "Right before we left the hospital that night, they came to us and said that we would be able to donate his heart for his heart valves. That means a lot to us that we were able to help other babies," said LouAnn.

Helping and healing and using Quintin's memory to press on.

"He's just a miracle in our eyes," said LouAnn.

The Inglish family needs your support. A benefit concert for baby Quintin's family will be on Monday September 9th at 5 p.m. The benefit concert, at Mike Miller Park, will have food, games, a silent auction and power wheels races for kids. All proceeds will go to the Inglish family to help with medical bills and traveling expenses.
