Gas prices are finally on the way down.

Already, the national average has fallen for ten straight days and is now $3.74 for a gallon of regular.

Gas prices typically drop in the fall as refineries switch to cheaper fuel blends and drivers take a break from road trips.

Analysts predict a 5-to-15-cent per week drop for the next three weeks.

Here's a look at the lowest prices in our area:

In Anna, Illinois, gas can be found for $3.60. That's lower than the state average of $3.69.

In Murray, Kentucky, the lowest price is $3.57. That's the same as the state average.

In Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the lowest price is $3.41. That's also the state average.

In Union City, Tennessee, you can find gas for $3.54, but that's higher than the state average of $3.47.
