REIDLAND, Ky. — A local teen's death is bringing new light to a dangerous practice many parents need to hear about.

It's called huffing, inhaling chemical vapors to get high. It's a growing trend across the nation and in our region.

Over the weekend, 15-year-old Mallory Chapman of Reidland, Kentucky, died after inhaling chemicals from computer keyboard cleaner.

Chapman's mother told Local 6 she had no idea what huffing was or that her daughter was doing it, two things she didn't learn until it was too late.

But her family doesn't want the same thing to happen to any others.  Watch the video for more.
