Tennessee River Bridge lane closure set for today and tomorrow

LEDBETTER, Ky. - Drivers on the US 60 Tennessee River Bridge should watch for a lane closure.

The one-lane reduction is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. until noon today and again from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. tomorrow.

The reduction is to allow crews to inspect areas that are considered for repair.

The start time could be delayed, weather pending.

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - Various bridges in McCracken County will undergo inspections over the next two weeks.

Between today and October 22, crews will conduct inspections on five bridges in the county.

While at least one lane of traffic will remain open during inspections, one lane will be closed to allow for inspection work.

All work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the scheduled dates.

Below is a list of scheduled dates and locations for bridge inspections:

October 9-10: KY1954/Husbands Road

October 11-12: US 45 (I-24 over US 45); lane closure on US 45

October 15-16: US 60 (I-24 over US 60); lane closure on US 60

October 17-18: US 62 (US 62 over I-24); lane closure on I-24

October 19 and October 22: US 68 (US 68 over I-24); lane closure on I-24
